Chaos on Issuance of Las Piñas Friendship Route Stickers 2011

Typical woes!

The March 14-20 distribution of 2011 Friendship Stickers in Las Piñas has turned into another chaotic scenario at the Verdant Covered Court. My wife, who arrived at 8am on Monday -- the first day of the distribution week -- eventually decided to go home when she was already positioned outside the gymnasium under the sun's heat. Some were reportedly there at 2am. Though there's a special lane for senior citizens, this still reeks of chaos.

True enough, forms were gone early as people were told to wait for hours or asked to come back. There has also been a lot of confusion as to what to bring.

In a conversation with Barangay Manuyo Dos Kagawad Mark Nery this afternoon, he said that reports of the said chaos continued till today. These were the requirements he said were needed, maybe depending on the case:

1) ORIGINAL OR/CR of the vehicle (to be stamped on the back with "sticker issued")
2) Photocopy of the OR/CR (to be surrendered)
3) Driver's License
4) Proof of Billing Address

Calling on the kind Mayor Nene Aguilar: please put more order on the sticker distribution process. Maybe, stickers can be issued per barangay for convenience, or at least, the period be extended for another 2 weeks.
