Let's Chow! vs. Chowking?

Is another Chinese fastfood resto taking a shot at mighty Chowking?

Let's Chow! opened it's second outlet last month along Aguilar Avenue in Las Pinas almost across Southville International School and beside the Las Pinas Doctors Hospital. I've always been passing by the place on my way to either BF or to the nearby 7-Eleven and Southstar Drug. The original outlet is in the NAIA3 Terminal.

I like the way the place is dressed up with it's vibrant apple green color and the pictures of its food tastefully postered on the walls. It's young and hip. The food smells, tastes and looks Binondo-like. However, it's too pricey for the regular folk. In a Let's Chow! versus Chowking overall comparison, I'd still go for the latter. More improvement should be done in the areas of price, food portions, and taste. The exhaust system also needs to be improved because the smell of food clings to your clothes after awhile. I took some food shots to share:

Asado Rice and Sweet & Sour Chicken Rice:

Siopao Bola-Bola and Beef Wanton Mami:

Pork Siomai and Fried Chicken:
