South of Metro: Papa John's Pizza Arrives in Manila

It's finally here!

Papa John’s International, the world’s third largest pizza chain with more than 3,500 restaurants worldwide and the top consumer’s choice in the US, has finally opened its flagship branch in the country along Annapolis Road in Greenhills, San Juan.

Inspired by the brand’s history, Papa John’s Pizza celebrated the opening of the new outlet with an 80’s inspired party. “We set up the party as such so that Filipinos will get to understand the brand better. It shows how Papa John’s started and what it will be in the years to come. We are very happy that we are now part of the Papa John’s family,” said Paul Soo, President of Berjaya Pizza (Philippines), Inc.

With the recent launch of its first store in Robinsons Galleria Veranda last December 2010 and second store in University Mall along Taft Avenue in Manila earlier this week, Papa John’s just keeps on getting BETTER!

“Our first site in Robinsons Galleria Veranda has consistently met our sales target since it opened. We are expecting sales to increase since we just launched our delivery in its immediate trade zone,” said Dato Francis Lee, Chairman of Berjaya Pizza (Philippines), Inc. “The Filipinos are very happy with the pizzas. Others, who have tasted it whilst they were abroad, commented on its taste – it’s the same wherever you go!”
