DZMM reported the death of Former Defense Secretary Angelo Reyes from a gunshot wound in the chest. He was brought to the Quirino General Hospital by his family at 7:45am today.
It was reported that he committed suicide while visiting the grave of his parents at the Loyola Memorial Park in Marikina this morning. He was with his two children, an aide and his driver.
A gardener interviewed by radio DZMM said that Sec. Reyes visited the grave yesterday and went back early this morning. He walked his children to the car and went back to the grave alone and sat on one of the chairs before shooting himself in the chest.
Sec. Reyes was immediately rushed to the Quirino Labor Hospital about 20 minutes away. A statement from Sec. Ona of the Department of Health said that Sec. Reyes was declared dead-on-arrival after efforts to revive him were done, at 8:22am.
Sec. Reyes is survived by his wife Teresita and children.

I am sorry for the loss but the pabaon system was "blood money". How many soldiers have to die because they are ill equipped so His wife can go to the U.S. with pabaon money?
